If you haven't already, you can join our VIP group for access to our freebies which includes some items that cannot be purchased at all. I am going to pull out all past group gifts and have those available soon as well.
I'm taking the in-world store down due to a problem with our vending system. No worries though, items are still for sale on the marketplace!

Ham bat based off of the perishable weapon from Don't Starve! Comes with one mesh Ham Bat and a 2 button HUD for swinging and whacking.
I'm actually very excited to release this very exclusive group gift. Exclusive as in it will never be sold as a product on our shelves. In celebration of bringing on our new shopkeeper Inu, YOU can be Inu too!
A rigged mesh avatar, albeit a simple one, no bells or whistles. Merely the same mesh used for the main Inu rigged for avatars. I enjoy watching him dance around and I hope you will enjoy him too!

Dancing makes Inu very happy!
As the title says, yes, we've moved the store onto the mainland. And we've also created a new store layout. Same products, different sim and store design. We're trying to create more products from scratch. Creating mesh is a time consuming process, sometimes it's just easier to use a template.

Narwhal Plushies, not really meant for holding but there is a free animation to hold them in-world |
So we revamped our old sculpted birdhouses and birdbaths with new, adorable mesh birdhouses! I've also added two new colors. Currently available in-world and soon to be available on the marketplace. This pairs great with our sculpted chirping birds. I have actually thought about redoing the birds as well, but mesh doesn't animate as well as sculpts does.
Also, there is one special edition for group gift only.
One more thing, I have a video of how the birdhouse was created in Blender, from start to finish modeling!
March and April are the rainiest months in our state so I decided to release our new product--a simple mesh umbrella for this months group gift. I do have more colors coming soon!

The Rainbow Unicorn and Tainted Unicorn are my favorites (and the rares). However, the common Plain Unicorn Horn is tintable so you should be able to modify the color.
I really would like to release mesh hair for aridoki, but while there are many videos available for modeling hair there are nearly none about modeling hair for second life. After watching many close videos I really took to this one, about modeling mesh hair the Sims, which is very close to second life.
So I attempted to create a short bob which doesn't look anything like the reference picture I chose. I started out in Photoshop, using the smudge tool and brush to create a couple of hair textures.
I had one with a straight across fringe for straight cuts like bangs and stuff. Than a more feathered and longer strand for length; and one long one with no edge for more solid pieces of hair.
I saved it as a targe with an alpha map.
Then I imported it into Blender and applied it to every plane I subdivided and modeled with. Using the textured planes really helped me visualize where I was going with the model.

With the Default Avatar in Blender the Hair looked kind of weird.
It looked much better in-world, but I still had transparency issues.... And so ends my first attempt.
I like creating things to wear but I honestly don't know much fashion terminology like haute, chic, couture. I don't know much about style terms except whats unique, colorful, edgy, moody, happy and dark. These like rose headbands are adorable, available in three shades and will add to any outfit and hair. It's mod/copy to adjust with any hair you have.

Here is just a quick summary of what I use to create in SecondLife. There are a number of programs out there, both free and costly, designed to help SecondLifers build and create. Here are some of the programs I use:
AvPainter: This was one of my first purchases in 2008. It allows you to draw right on top the SL Avatar and export the drawings. You can even use layers and it automatically exports in 3 different formats. It does cost around $20 but so far has been worth it. Download the demo here.
ZBrush: From pixologic, this is where I began sculpties thanks to Shiny-life (which is sadly no longer available). However, this program is VERY pricey. Click here to visit Pixologic.com.
Blender: Blender is free, the UI is a little hard to learn, but there are many video tutorial on how to use it specifically for Second Life. Blender can be downloaded for free here.
Tatara: From the Kanae Project Tatara is an awesome program you don't have to install. It allows you to edit a sculpty or mesh in a couple different modes, texture it and export it. It is available for a little over $20. There are many tutorials and a trial product can be downloaded here.
Photoshop: Also can be pricey, but it is essential for me. I use it to create textures, edit photos and sketch out ideas. The extended versions can even work with 3d too. However, if its out of budget theres always
GIMP: This program operates similar to photoshop with working layers, but is available for free.
That's kind of the overview, once in a while I'll try small programs here and there to see how it can make my Second Life easier because I can be absolutely lazy!

I'm waiting for Linden Labs to fix the listings problem, which I do appreciate. They told me that it happens to people who waited to migrate and as much as I appreciate the response, I can't help but think hey I have a 1st life, I didn't exactly choose to wait. Sigh. Anyways, I've been working on some new clothes.
I do like mesh clothing, I have not begun to learn how to make rigged mesh clothing, so I appreciate the amount of premade items available. This is a small series of items in the name of Pastel Goth fashion.

So I know there has been a lot of bitching about Direct Delivery and the migration and maybe I'm behind and I don't know how well everything is supposed to run on Windows 8--but anyways. To add to the bitching it has been very frustrating moving my items over. I'm listing a couple items at a time.
I send a folder or two through the merchants outbox, and when it does send it I try to manually associate the object with the existing listing and it says 'Successfully Updated' when it isn't. It's still red and unavailable. So when I end a folder that exactly matches the object name it keeps giving me an error when I try to activate it.
So in the end I have only two listings back up that I had to relist, losing any reviews and ratings. I will not be happy doing this for every item. I get what they're trying to do but I'm not sure why it's so hard...
Shayne will not be happy with it either, her patience is way shorter than mine!

Update
Hello SLers! Yes, still alive and still attempting to create (you know how 1st life gets in the way). Still only on the marketplace with several ideal places for a new location.
I hope everyone had a great Halloween! we didn't release any products because of RL issues, but I am happy to say that we are still open and selling our products! We do plan on making some new products for Thanksgiving.
Also, I still need to re-release our sculpted elf ears which I keep procrastinating. So if anyone was wondering where our ears went, they've been updated.
We may even be dabbling in mesh, I've touched it once before while doing clothes for The Sims 2 which uses mesh. So you may have that to look forward to as well.
